Vasey Independent Living Units offer you many of the advantages of home ownership - without the worries of ongoing home maintenance and upkeep.

Vasey has 5 Retirement Villages located in the Sydney suburbs of Epping, Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, Maroubra and Waitara. Within those villages there are 244 one bedroom independent living units and 3 studio apartments.

Our villages are situated in some of Sydney's most picturesque suburbs, and fully deserve their reputation for convenience, quality, comfort and value. They are all well appointed with comfortable modern fixtures and fittings.

A limited number of car spaces, carports and lock up garages are available on a rental basis to our residents. Not all villages have garages or carports, so please contact our staff to confirm parking facilities at a particular village.

Laundry facilities operate on a communal basis situated at various locations throughout the villages, with coin operated automatic washing machines and dryers maintained by Vasey.

All residents contribute via Recurrent Charges for General Services towards the maintenance of their village. The Recurrent Charge for General Services covers such items as the internal maintenance within your unit, building insurance, gardens & grounds maintenance, water & council rates, cleaning of common areas, plus a contribution towards administration costs to name a few. This Recurrent Charge is payable quarterly in advance on the 1st January, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October of any given year.

Vasey has established mechanisms for the creation of residents' committees within its villages. Providing all residents with the opportunity to raise and discuss issues, express views, and to consent or otherwise to village budgets.

Also attached to each of our property pages, are the individual Disclosure Statements. The Disclosure Statement is a document which is required to be made available to all prospective residents under the Retirement Villages Act 1999 which regulates the operations of Retirement Villages in NSW. Within this statement you will find detailed information concerning the village of interest to you.
