History of the Village:

“Parkview” was opened by Mrs G.A. Vasey C.B.E (Founder of Vasey Housing) on September 15, 1963. 

To mark the 40th Anniversary of the opening of the “Parkview” Village, Mr T.R. Vasey RFD RD VRD (the nephew of Major General and Mrs Vasey), unveiled a plaque in September 2003 to commemorate this occasion.
